Dr. Abduljabar Hamza, MD, PgCert Med, ChM (T&O)

Dr. Abduljabar Hamza is a surgeon and healthtech entrepreneur focused on transforming how healthcare systems operate through artificial intelligence. He is the Founder and CEO of AI MedTech, where he leads the development of MedBridge—an AI-powered clinical optimisation platform designed to improve patient flow, decision-making, and resource allocation across healthcare systems.
With frontline clinical experience across the UK and Europe, Dr. Hamza identified a critical gap in healthcare: inefficiencies in how patients are prioritised, routed, and managed across care pathways. He founded AI MedTech to address this challenge at a system level, positioning MedBridge as a scalable infrastructure layer for healthcare delivery.
Dr. Hamza’s work has received global recognition. In 2026, AI MedTech was awarded a Global Recognition Award for innovation in healthcare technology, placing it in the top 5.8% of applicants worldwide. He was also named a UK winner of NOVA111 in the healthcare category and selected by the University of Edinburgh Medical School as one of only 300 individuals in its 300-year history to represent its legacy and future.Nominee for the Nebius Ai Discovery Award 2026
